5/11 - 12   The Golden Chords Singers present their Spring Dinner/Concert:
"The Magic of Music"
Friday May 11 and Saturday May 12, 2012 at the Flemingsburg United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall
Dinner begins at 7 PM each evening
Tickets are now on sale: $18 per person for the dinner & concert. Reservations requested by 5/3 (no reservations accepted after 5/6). When you call to reserve your tickets, please indicate your preference of pot roast or chicken for dinner. Tickets for the concert only (no dinner) can be purchased at the door for $6 per person. 5/12   On May 12, 2012 will be a first ever GARDEN DAY IN OLD WASHINGTON.
There will be planting and growing demonstrations, plant vendors, art exhibits, a tour of private gardens along Old Main Street, and a tea at the Harriet Beecher Stowe Slavery to Freedom Museum. This event will be held from 10:00am to 5:00pm. For more information and exact times please watch for it in your local newspaper, or the Maysville Ledger Independent, or the Washington website, www.washingtonky.com. (10 AM - 5 PM)

"Stress Management" by Deb Weber, LCSW
Thursday, May 24th at 7 AM at Flemingsburg Baptist Church. Breakfast provided by Sims Dairy Queen. Breakfast & program are FREE to Chamber members. Non-members are welcome to attend for $10 per person. Please call 606-845-1223 to reserve your spot by no later than May 18th. (7 AM)
 
5/24   Fleming-Mason Energy Annual Meeting
May 24th, starting at 4:30 PM
Featured Entertainment will be Gospel group The Dove Brothers. Members of the Fleming Co. FFA will also be performing. This event is FREE and open to the public. Each person will receive a ticket for a free meal (hot dog/chips/drink) and members of Fleming-Mason Energy (anyone on FME's service) can register to receive a free bucket of bulbs and a chance at one of several door prizes.

5/25   Blood Drive at Blue Licks State Park
You can be someone’s hero! It takes only a few moments of your time and yet the impact is profound. Donating blood saves lives. Join Blue Licks Battlefield State Resort Park in their fight to save lives in Kentucky by rolling up your sleeves and donating blood on Saturday, May 28, 2011 from 11 AM - 3 PM. Every blood donor will receive 2 free mini golf passes and be registered to win door prizes. Call 859-289-5507 for more information. (11 AM - 3 PM)
