Expand your sewing skills by learning how to use the many accessory feet that comes with your sewing machine during “Introduction to Feet." This workshop will give you a new taste of sewing fun and allow you to make even more of your own handmade items. Supplies: Bring sewing machine, attachments, machine manual, basic sewing kit, scrap fabric and threads. The Extension Office has some sewing machines on hand for your use, let us know if you want to use one at your class when you register. If you are a local farmer with locally grown and produced items, then this is your opportunity to become part of this group. The Blue Licks Farmer’s Market group will be meeting at Blue Licks with Robertson County Agriculture Extension Agent, Ms. Shannon Ferrell. Have an old machine or new machine that you do not know how to operate? Come let the Master clothing volunteers help you learn all about your machine. The Fleming County Cooperative Extension Service is offering this sewing class. The workshop will be held on March 15, 2010, at 10 AM at the Fleming County Extension office.
You will need an instruction manual for the machine you will be using. If you don’t have a manual, contact the office and give the make and model of your machine. The volunteers will try to locate one before the class. No registration fee, but we ask that you please pre-register for this class by March 5.
Supplies Needed: Bring a sewing machine, manual, basic sewing kit, scrap fabric and threads.
