Various species of birds can be found at Blue Licks throughout the year and we encourage all of our park visitors to participate. Be sure to dress properly for weather conditions and you may also want to bring binoculars and a camera. If you have internet access, we recommend you submit your bird count via http://www.birdsource.org/gbbc/, but if you do not have internet access a copy of the species form, checklists, and other bird watching tips are available at the front desk in the Worthington Lodge at Blue Licks State Park. This group is comprised of mostly women that share this common interest, but it is open to men as well. Each member of the group is passionate and enthusiastic about paranormal activity and each possesses different abilities. They invite the general public to join them at any point during this 4-6 hour quest. This is not a park event, but since it is something that many of our visitors enjoy, this group has made this activity available to all park visitors that wish to learn more about paranormal activity and/or join them on their hunt. This very informal event will be dependent upon weather so call the park that day to confirm. For more information, call Blue Licks Battlefield State Resort Park at 859-289-5507 or 800-443-7008.
