Doors open at 6:00 and the auctions starts at 6:30. Admission is FREE and paddles are $2 each. Our Quarter Auctions are a fun way to spend the evening while helping local charities with their fundraisers. Charity for May is FCCLA. You might go home with a $100 item for 4 quarters! 5/17 - 18   "Broadway Nights" dinner concert presented by the Golden Chords
Spring 2013 Dinner Concert. Join us for an entertaining evening of vocal performances from some of your favorite Broadway musicals - Les Miserables, Fiddler on the Roof, The Phantom of the Opera, Chicago & Hairspray, among others.

Performance dates are Friday, May 17 & Saturday 18, 2013, in the fellowship hall of First United Methodist Church at 117 W. Main Street in Flemingsburg. Dinner will begin at 7 PM, followed by the concert at 8 PM each evening.

Ticekts are available for both dinner & concert for $18 per person. Dinner entree includes a choice of roast beef or roast pork tenderloin - please indicate your selection when making your reservation. Final reservations should be made by May 15th. Admission for concert only will be $6 at the door.

5/18   1st Annual Franklin Sousley 5K Scholarship Run
Armed Forces Day - May 18, 2013
Beginning at 8:30 AM, rain or shine
Registration at 7:30 AM at the Fleming Co. Industrial Park located off Taylor Mill Rd.
All registered runners receive a t-shirt; Trophies given to top male & female overall runners; Medallions given to top 3 in each age group; door prizes
Early entry fee $15; Day of race entry fee $20

5/19   The FC Covered Bridge Museum will host a Chatauqua presentation of Dr. McDowell on Sunday afternoon, May 19th at 2 pm. McDowell will be portrayed by L. Henry Dowell of Nicholasville, Kentucky. Dowell is the founder of The Gusto Theatre Company, a group dedicated to educational theatre and the performing of new works, as well as the classics. This Kentucky Humanities Council presentation is sponsored by the FC Covered Bridge Museum, Morehead University, Brown-Foreman, Toyota, and the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels.
